Creating a distinctive brand platform to position Save the Children Canada as the primary advocacy and action organization helping the world’s children in crisis.

The Ask

For over 100 years Save the Children has been on the front lines of aiding and supporting the world’s children in crisis. While their work has transformed the lives of millions of the most marginalized and deprived children, Save the Children has yet to be able to establish itself as the ‘go to’ children’s rights organization in Canada.

Working together with our strategic partners at Sage Management Advice, the challenge was to create a distinctive brand platform positioning Save the Children as the primary advocacy and action organization helping the world’s children in crisis.

The foundation of the new brand platform is the creation of a new tagline that encompasses their mission and their track record of success, and stands apart from comparable organizations: “Whatever it takes. Wherever the need.”

Our guiding creative adopted a newer, more pointed and attention-seeking creative direction that still works within Save the Children’s existing brand guidelines and assets.

With the platform developed, we then created a branded launch campaign that reintroduced this platform to new and existing audiences across key digital channels, rooted in the insight that no one person can solve these massive challenges on their own – but together, we can help millions across four major areas: children in crisis, the hunger crisis, protecting children, and child marriage.
